GameX Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to GameX.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the GameX application ("GameX"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use GameX.

2. Eligibility

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
• Provide accurate registration information.
• Maintain only one personal GameX account unless authorized by GameX.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, keeping your mobile phone number current, notifying GameX of unauthorized account activity, and all activity occurring under your account.

4. User Roles

Guest: Free account; maximum two Groups; may participate in invited Events; cannot create Groups.

Member: Annual paid subscription; unlimited Groups; may participate in Events; may serve as an Assistant.

Organizer: Annual paid subscription; may create and manage Groups and Events; may assign Assistants; responsible for activities created.

Assistant: Assigned by an Organizer; may manage Groups and Events; cannot transfer or delete Group ownership unless authorized.

5. Subscription Terms

• Annual subscriptions.
• No refunds.
• Cancellation does not create a refund.
• Subscription remains active through the paid term.
• Members who do not renew are removed from all Groups and may continue as Guests if eligible.
• Organizers who do not renew lose Organizer functionality after the Grace Period and Groups may become inactive.

6. SMS Communications

By registering, you consent to receive SMS messages for verification, invitations, reminders, updates, cancellations, security notifications, and subscription notices. Standard carrier rates may apply.

7. Acceptable Use

Use GameX lawfully and respectfully. Do not provide false information, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, send spam, malicious content, or impersonate another person.

8. Organizer Responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for the Events they create, including locations, safety, communications, and legal compliance. GameX is not the organizer of any Event.

9. Assumption of Risk

Participation in any activity organized through GameX is voluntary. Participants assume all risks associated with those activities.

10. Disclaimer

GameX is a scheduling and event management platform. GameX does not supervise Events, verify participants, guarantee attendance or event quality, inspect venues, or provide insurance, and is not responsible for disputes between users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameX and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for personal injury, property damage, lost profits, lost data, missed Events, scheduling conflicts, user disputes, or service interruptions.

12. Privacy

Your use of GameX is governed by the GameX Privacy Policy, which you acknowledge and accept.

13. Account Suspension

GameX may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, harass users, attempt unauthorized access, or use GameX for illegal purposes.

14. Changes to These Terms

GameX may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
